I am glad to tell you something about the holiday activity “ Happy Easter” held in our school on December 28. The event, which was intended to enrich our knowledge about the cultures of the main English-speaking countries, took place on the second floor of the science building. The participants, most of whom were enthusiastic English learners, played various English language games, including an Easter egg hunt. Mr. Francher, a foreign teacher from the U.S., gave us a vivid introduction of the major holidays in both America and Britain. The event began at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, and came to a successful end at 5 p.m.
I must say all of us have learned a lot from this “Happy Easter” activity, which is of great benefit for us English learners.
